Management Standard for Quality

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the international standard for Quality. The previous version of the standard (ISO 9001: 2000) was replaced in 2008 by the ISO 9001: 2008 standard. The standard defines the requirements that an organization must operate so that the final product and / or service is judged satisfactory by both its customers and other interested parties.

The standard's requirements cover the entire range of an organization's activities from the design and development of new products and services to after-sales service.

In September 2015, the new and currently valid version of ISO 9001: 2015 was published. (ISO9001: 2008 and ISO 9001: 2000 are older versions of the same standard.)

ISO 9001 is addressed to all businesses and organizations, both private and public, regardless of their type, size, and activity or products / services they provide.
