With Ministerial Decision. ΔΥ8δ/ΓΠ/οικ.1348:2004 (Government Gazette 32 B / 16-1-2004), companies operating medical devices are required to establish a system of principles and guidelines for the good practice of distributing their medical devices.

It concerns businesses in any legal form whose turnover includes the distribution of medical devices either exclusively or in parallel with any other activities, with the exception of manufacturers of medical devices in so far as it concerns the distribution of products .

The purpose of this Ministerial Decision is to adhere to a system of principles and guidelines regarding the good distribution practice for the medical devices of Joint Ministerial Decisions ΔΥ7/οικ2351/94, ΔΥ7/οικ2480/94  (as amended and supplemented by Joint Ministerial Decisions 2740/2002 and ΔΥ8δ / ΔΕΚ 44006/2002) and ΔΥ8δ / οικ3607 / 892/2001, so that they do not deteriorate and their level of quality during the distribution process is not impaired.

The provisions of that Decision include  businesses, in any legal form, whose turnover includes the distribution of medical devices either exclusively or in parallel with any other activities, with the exception of manufacturers of medical devices, in so far as it concerns the distribution of products .

This Decision establishes a system of principles and guidelines as described in Article 3 of that Decision.
