A NEW AGE IS COMING

STRANDARDS TRANSITIONING FROM THE ISO 9001:2008 TO ISO 9001:2015 AND FROM THE ISO 14001:2004 TO ISO 14001:2015

• 15 September 2018 is set as the end date of the old version of standards. From this date onwards, certificates of the previous version (ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2004) may not be retained.
• The ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards are internationally recognized and apply to all businesses regardless of activity and size.

The most important changes to the new version of ISO 9001: 2015 are:
• The requirement for an appropriate definition of the organization’s operating framework
• Limitation of documentation requirements
• Increased demands from leadership
• Focus on risk analysis and management

The most important changes to the new version of ISO 14001: 2015 are:
• Understanding the organization’s external and internal environment that affects its environmental performance.
• Monitoring and reviewing information related with interested parts and their respective expectations and needs.
• Requirement to identify risks associated with threats and opportunities
• Greater focus on leadership and increased commitment
• Adding preventive initiatives to protect the environment from damage and degradation, such as the use of sustainable resources and mitigation of climate change
• Establish a communication strategy.
